Animation has been an integral part of our workflow going on 9 years now. While our focus has traditionally revolved around mostly simple Flash transitions, slide shows, and interactive applications for Flagstaff client websites, we began to take a look at character animation and cartooning in mid 2009. We currently have several of our own projects in various stages of development, using a wide range of tools; most notably, After Effects CS5.5, Toon Boom Animate 2, and Flash Pro CS5.5. These projects will be completed ant posted below as time allows.
50's Style Animated Commercial (2.03 Minutes)
This animation was created with Toon Boom Animate Pro PLE, as a contest entry. The only items in the animation not created with Toon Boom were the trees, shrubbery, weeds, and the character's hands. Due to a limitation in the audio synchronization capability of Animate Pro PLE, the video had to be exported as 17 QuickTime movies, then reassembled and rendered in Adobe After Effects, where the text was added. Sound was edited & mixed in Adobe Soundbooth.
