Web Magi (pronounced web majī, with a "j" and long "i")
We were surprised to learn recently that some of the visitors to our site read our company name as "Web Maggie", this is of course incorrect. We felt it would therefore be helpful if we provided a short explanation as to how we use the name, and just what the Magi are.
As stated on Wikipedia: "In Christian tradition the Magi, also known as the Three Wise Men, The Three Kings, or Kings from the east, are Median Zoroastrian priests, who were also proficient in astrology from Ancient Persia. The Gospel of Matthew states that they came "from the east to Jerusalem" to worship the Christ, "born King of the Jews". According to Matthew, they navigated by following a star which came to be known as the Star of Bethlehem."
As the name Web Magi implies, we are wise and proficient in the ways of the web. We have been involved in the IT industry since 1996 and have a passion for technology. We have 14 years experience in design, development, management, communications, and problem solving, and are highly motivated to grow as the industry grows. As a rule, we cultivate honor and integrity purposefully, and it shows in the connections we form with our clients. We go beyond the project at hand and make ourselves available for whatever challenges may arise.
