WordPress Maintenance Plan

With all WordPress sites, regular care and maintenance on the back-end is required to keep things running smoothly on the front-end. And while automatic updates seem like a great idea in principle, in the real world, plugin developers cannot be trusted to keep their plugins tested, verified, and 100% ready for each new WordPress update. For small business owners with mission-critical plugins, or anyone really, who just needs to be able to depend on their website working properly from day-to-day, every day, a managed WordPress package is the way to go.

This service includes the following:

• Content updates for existing site posts and pages (which includes updating photos, text, etc., as may be required).
• Adding new posts and pages – here and there – within reason.
  • NOTE: Adding a large number of new posts and pages (15 to 100+) as well as product design/development that requires working with outside software (automated marketing software, etc.) to build and/or maintain new products and marketing funnels is beyond the scope of “care & maintenance” as defined in this package. Which is simply defined as “the care and maintenance of your existing website”.
• WordPress core updates,
  • NOTE: This update will only be initiated after a careful review of your plugins and theme to determine whether they are compatible with the latest WP release. Recommendations will be presented as discrepancies arise.
    
• Plugin updates,
  • NOTE: If a plugin gets abandoned by its developer, and becomes a functionality/security risk, we may need to look at an alternate solution. We can test and implement any solution for free, but if the final solution is a paid plugin, you will need to purchase this separately.
    
• Theme updates,
  • NOTE: If your theme gets abandoned by its developer, and becomes a functionality/security risk, we may need to look at an alternate solution. This may mean having to completely rebuild your website from scratch, which is not covered under this package.
• Routine website security checks (which includes the installation, configuration, and management of a free enterprise-class WordPress security plugin, protecting your website from hacks and malware).
• Regular database and all-files backups (prior to updates and site changes). This ensures the ability to immediately restore the site to its previous state should something go wrong during an update.
• Duration – 12-months (recurring, cancel anytime).
• Good for 1 WordPress website. If you have multiple websites in need of managed maintenance, please contact us for a reduced rate.
